This was just a release to keep the fans busy while They Recorded their official second album. It had remixes from the debut and covers. This was so cool when it came out cuz u got a hologram 3d sticker of the group lol. I personally think Tiffani's cover of "I Know What Boys Like" is the best remake of the song that i've heard. This had their biggest hit as i recall DeeDee's lead vocal on "In My Dreams" Was played alot on pop radio. This was an awesome CD and i consider it as an album. I played the hell out of this on casette back in the day. I still have all my Party CD's and casettes.

I know it's been a long time since i posted. My health and world of warcraft have kept me away lol. Yeah i'm a gay nerd :P

I was going thru some other blogs and one i was reading reminded me of this awesome group i was a super fan of in the 90's. I recommend clicking on the highlited area cuz that blog is awesome! The Party who was Chase, Dee Dee, Tiffani, Albert and Damon were spawned from Disney. They created a pure pop group of fabulosity! They had some really good material and super producers working on their stuff. 2 well known from Madonna's career Stephen Bray and Jellybean to name a few. I really loved this cd when i was in junior high and still love it today. I hope u enjoy it!! One of my fave tracks on here is the jellybean produced "I Found Love". Their material is super hard to find. I'm still looking for their "Greatest Hits" CD so if anyone has it i'd love a link to it or where you've seen it!

Before Bjork had her wonderful solo career she survived the 80's and early 90's with this band. I love their stuff just as much as Bjorks. The song "Hit" introduced me to her vocals which i still love to this day. This is a pretty good and thorough collection of all their singles . This is her masterpiece in my opinion! The opening track is kinda my theme song. "Whats a girl to do". Awesome song. I wish this coulda been a hit for her. The lead single off here was "Ticket to the Tropics" but i guess nobody wanted to go. Poor Cristina. This has a bunch of Gems worth listening to. Her version of "When you were Mine" is fagulous. I like Cyndi's version better but Cristina's is a close second. Give these 2 classics a spin i promise if u love 80's new wave and trashy disco u wont be disapointed.

Although i enjoy her other album "Sleep it off" more. I decided i would share these because of my heavy flow of 2 readers i have who visit my blog. Seeing the cover to this album and the pics inside the booklet. I can tell Mandonna was more than a bit influenced by Cristina's flare for fashion. This contains some awesome work. Actor Kevin Kline guest vocals on "Disco Clone". Her cover of Peggy Lee's "Is that all there is" is both tragic and funny. Cristina had an awesome sense of humor and great choice of material. Tigra from the short lived rap duo L'Trimm goes for solo glory and i for one hopped onto this funky train. She still sounds the same as she did back with the cars with the boom. This is a very nice mid 90's rap album. Which in my opinion was the best time for fun party rap songs. This album is new though she just kept her great vintage sound! One of my favourite songs on here is in french. "Cauchemars" it's a fabulous and fun track. Enjoy Lady Tigra in all her glory!

My love affair with Don started in late 98. I got a CD Sampler which included his september love as one of the tracks. It also had a little known Britney Spears upon it. I totally went gaga for Don and Britney. Britney went on to release the multi million selling Baby one more time album. All i saw from Don was a sexy spread eagle shot CD single called "You Make Me Love You... More" which i bought instantly. It said debut album coming soon. I waited and waited! I loved his duet with Brit on her cd and this single and the b-side. But i saw no album. Then "drive me crazy" came out and had a new song by don on it. "Sugar" and it was pure bliss. Sugar coated pop candy with a soulfull voice. I patiently waited yet still no album by now i was furious! I saw a cd called "pop 16" which had his song "Everyday's a rainy monday" which was a ballad and i loved it as well, but still no damn CD! Fast foreward to years later i'm fatter and wiser and have the intronet gurl! It's been out in Japan for years! I have it! Having a cute lil boyfriend named David who loves to spoil me helped. I finally got this at 32. Now that i'm an old heffa i finally get the Don love i so rightfully deserve! I've listened to this about a zillion times his voice is so beautiful! He has a new album coming out soon i can't wait! Enjoy this little known pop gem of deliciousness brought to u by me and my wonderful boyfriend. I added track 14 as a special bonus.

This was released in 89. A Jim Steinman production. All the drama and wonderful music was here that made Meatloaf and Bonnie Tyler huge successes. I think if he had chosen better vocalists to perform on here it would have done well. "Original Sin" Has been covered by Taylor Dayne. "It's All Coming Back" was a hit for Celine so this cd had hit potential. My faves include the 2 listed above also "Good Girls" is a fabulous song. "The Want Ad" is strangely funny. This is an enjoyable gem from the past. Enjoy!!
